Christian Education Division of the Southwest Association works to empower Christian educators in the local church and serve as a resource for them. They provide support for youth ministry, adult education and children's programming. They regularly sponsor an annual Rejoice and Refresh Retreat for Christian educators and a Confirmation Retreat in the fall for area confirmands.

Lois Rosko is the Chairperson of the Christian Education Divison. Division members are Chairperson Lois Rosko, Gail Holmes, Lisa Hart, Jann Veloff, Jeff Rabe, Rev Neil Partington, Delise Buckingham-Taylor, Denise Brandl, Phil Haslanger and staffed by Nancy Potter.

Rejoice & Recharge Retreat
The 2008 R & R Retreat is scheduled for January 26, 2008 at Salem UCC in Verona. Download the retreat brochure which includes the registration form, put the retreat on your calendar and save that day for this wonderful opportunity to rest and recharge early next year. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and you will be on your way home by 3:30 PM.
Confirmation Retreat
The confirmation retreat this year will be held Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, at Pilgrim Camp. The theme will be
Reasons for the Seasons. Confirmands will explore the church calendar through art projects, music and creative worship.
Popular musician, Andra Moran, will be there. Get your registration materials in by October 15th to the church office.
