The Association exists to assist the local churches to equip their members for mission to and in the World. For that purpose the Association is organized into Divisions and Committees to provide both written and human resources. Refer to each division webpage to find out who is currently serving on the divisions.

Division on Church and Ministryoversees ministerial standing, pastoral relations, professional standards, in-care students, the relationship of pastors to parishes and specialized ministry. One of its functions is to authorize pastoral ministry for the Association.

Division on Lay Life and Leadership seeks to strengthen the whole ministry of the Church by supporting people in attending church-related events and promoting a partnership of laity and clergy for the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Division on Christian Education fosters education for teachers, children, youth and adults and is responsible for providing training of youth ministry leaders, promoting inter-church fellowship among the Association's youth and providing opportunities for growth and involvement of youth in the life and work of the Church.

Division on Stewardship and Missionpromotes faith development for stewardship and mission, mission interpretation that provides information about the church's work, especially OCWM and financial development based on Christian stewardship principles.

Church Extension and Renewal Committeeoversees development of new churches and new ministries in current congregations.

Social Concerns Committee provides information on social issues and cooperates with congregations who are acting on the implications of the Gospel for society.

Authorized Lay Pastor Committee Oversees the authorization of laity for ministry and provides authorized lay pastors with support.
